Security Policy

Reporting a vulnerability

Please do not open public GitHub issues for security problems.

To report a vulnerability:

  1. Email the maintainers listed in MAINTAINERS.md with the subject line: SECURITY: OpenWebUI CLI.
  2. Include a description, reproduction steps, and any potential impact you have identified.

We will acknowledge receipt promptly and work with you on triage and fixes.

Supported versions

  • Active development targets the latest released CLI.
  • Patches may be backported at the maintainers' discretion.
